What is theTopian?

It’s a top secret military grade application that you will be dying to get your hands on once it’s released. Seriously though, theTopian is a blog set-up by Jamie Dyer, and Chris Garrett to document the building of a new web application we are working on. What is this application? Well that’s a secret for now, what we can tell you is this; it is web based, it will use PHP and MySQL, it will be an application you can download and install on your own website, it will fill a gap in the current market, it will be built on a framework developed by ourselves, it will be low cost and affordable for all, and it’s being designed from the ground up to be as easy to use and efficient as possible.

When will we release the software?

In short, when it’s ready. We do not want to release something that’s buggy or doesn’t work as well as we want it to. When we feel it is good enough we will release it. All of our beta testers will have the opportunity to purchase the final software at a discounted rate.
